Five Exclusive Frames Fusing Iconic Scenes with the Charm of ‘Lines’
Exclusively for this exhibition, the photobooth will feature five distinct frame designs that capture the essence of the theatrical anime Look Back.
The designs incorporate motifs that condense the charm of the “lines”—the central theme of the exhibition—alongside memorable scenes from the film. Featuring the protagonists Fujino and Kyomoto, the frames evoke the girls’ shared passion for manga and the vibrant “breathing” nature of the narrative. These limited-edition frames are positioned as a must-have memento for fans of the work.

An Immersive Photography Experience Within the World of the Film
“Photomatic” is a high-quality self-photo brand that has garnered significant support from celebrities and artists in South Korea. For this collaboration, the booth utilizes professional-grade lighting and a carefully calculated shooting environment to maximize the subject’s appeal.
The core concept allows attendees to capture their excitement immediately after experiencing the exhibition. By taking a photo while the emotional heat of the artwork is still fresh, visitors can leave with a picture that feels as though they have become part of the Look Back story.
The cost for a session is 800 JPY (tax included). This fee includes two printed photos as well as digital data for both the still image and a video of the shooting process.
Highlights of ‘Look Back: The Anime Film Exhibition — Kiyotaka Oshiyama: The Emotion of Lines’
This exhibition is organized, supervised, and annotated by Kiyotaka Oshiyama himself, the director of the film.
The venue will display a vast array of rare production materials, including memos that offer a glimpse into the creators’ trial-and-error process, setting documents, and original key animation drawings. Additionally, the original “names” (rough storyboards) by the manga’s author, Tatsuki Fujimoto, will be unveiled. The exhibition delves deep into the behind-the-scenes production of the animation that shook audiences with its overwhelming artistic power and direction.
