Each glass is handcrafted by master artisans of Edo Kiriko, a traditional glass craft designated as a national Japanese traditional craft.

The glass is fashioned from a deep, jet-black cased glass, reminiscent of a profound darkness. On its surface, the formidable figure of the original Godzilla is intricately engraved using a combination of sandblasting and traditional “tekiri” hand-cutting techniques. The sky-piercing dorsal fins, the massive, coiling tail, and the destructive blaze and swirling dust clouds unleashed by the monster are vividly expressed through advanced cutting artistry. When held, the textured surface of the glass evokes the tactile sensation of Godzilla’s rugged skin.
Furthermore, the base of the glass features deep cuts designed to recall Godzilla’s powerful hands and sharp claws gripping the earth. When light passes through, a brilliant white glow emerges, emulating the monster’s iconic atomic breath.
