Since its establishment in 1962, Tatsunoko Production, the studio behind timeless hits like Gatchaman (released in some markets as Battle of the Planets) and the Time Bokan series, has embarked on a new venture with the establishment of its publishing label, ‘TEEM BOOK.’
The label is founded on the concepts of “Universality, Modernity, and Originality.” The name ‘TEEM’ is an acronym for “Tatsunoko Entertains Everyone More.” This initiative aims to leverage the studio’s decades of expertise in planning and development from animation to create new intellectual properties and manga series.

Synopsis
In a world where individuals with special abilities known as “Variants” are forced to wear collars to prohibit the use of their powers, Kent Sato is a member of the Variant Suppression unit, commonly known as “VS.” As public servants, they are specially permitted to unleash their abilities to carry out their missions. Kent, a jaded warrior deaf to the cries of the Variants who break the law and remove their collars, is partnered with Otomaro Kazanin, a rookie who holds a proud, idealistic vision of what a hero should be. This is the story of an unlikely duo with conflicting ideals, depicting the anguish of those with special powers in a controlled society and the rise of a new kind of Tatsunoko hero.
