King Gnu’s New Anthem “SO BAD” to Revolutionize “Zombie-de-Dance”
The wildly popular “Zombie-de-Dance,” an immersive park-wide dance party, will be supercharged this year by the musical force of King Gnu. The new song, “SO BAD,” is an energetic and dark dance tune from the mind of King Gnu’s Daiki Tsuneta, designed to get both zombies and guests dancing with wild abandon. The full version of the song is scheduled for release on the event’s opening day, Friday, September 5th.
Daiki Tsuneta of King Gnu commented on the collaboration: “This is a new anthem for King Gnu. It’s been a while since we’ve created such a vicious, alternative track. It’s the absolute worst and the absolute best—perfectly suited for Halloween. I can’t wait to see it blow up at our live shows!”
Hayato Tsuru, the Halloween Project General Director at Universal Studios Japan, shared his excitement: “We are thrilled to bring this collaboration to life, merging the cool, innovative sound of King Gnu with our ‘Zombie-de-Dance’ spectacle. I can’t wait to hear ‘SO BAD’ echoing through the park at night.”
“Hyper-Aggressive” Zombies to Invade in Upgraded “Street Zombies” Experience
The signature “Street Zombies” experience of Halloween Horror Nights will be elevated to a new level of terror in 2025. Dubbed “Hyper-Hyper-Hyper-Hyper-Aggressive,” this year introduces “Ghosts” that whip the zombies into an even greater frenzy, and the “Regulus Pride,” a security force tasked with containing them. Guests will find themselves fleeing from zombies so ferocious that even this elite unit is rendered helpless.
As night falls and “SO BAD” reverberates through the park, the terrifying streets will transform into the electrifying dance floor for “Zombie-de-Dance.” Featuring all-new choreography, guests and zombies will unite in a chaotic, unpredictable fusion of horror and celebration.
New Song to Feature on Popular “Hollywood Dream – The Ride” Attraction
During the event, King Gnu’s “SO BAD” will also be featured on the park’s popular roller coasters, “Hollywood Dream – The Ride” and “Hollywood Dream – The Ride ~Backdrop~.” The combination of the coaster’s high-speed thrills and the song’s intense sound promises a truly scream-worthy experience.
