A TV anime adaptation for the hit novel series Ryomin 0-nin Start no Henkyou Ryoushu-sama (Starting with Zero Subjects in a Frontier Domain), which has surpassed 2 million copies in circulation, was officially announced at the “Earth Star Novel 10th Anniversary Summer Festival” on July 19, 2025.
The announcement revealed the main cast, with Kenichiro Matsuda voicing the protagonist Dias and Shion Wakayama as the heroine Alna. A teaser visual and a promotional video for the anime were also unveiled for the first time.

Kenichiro Matsuda and Shion Wakayama to Headline the Main Cast
Kenichiro Matsuda, known for his role as Genjiro Tanigaki in Golden Kamuy, will voice Dias, a national hero who finds himself the lord of a desolate, unpopulated frontier. Starring opposite him is Shion Wakayama, who gained significant attention for her role as Takina Inoue in Lycoris Recoil, as the strong-willed, horned heroine Alna.

Coinciding with the announcement, a teaser visual was released, depicting Dias and Alna standing in a vast, barren landscape, offering a first glimpse into the world of the series.
Celebratory Comments from Original Creators Arrive
In commemoration of the TV anime adaptation, celebratory comments and illustrations were released from the original author Fuurou, original character designer Kinta, and the manga adaptation artist Yumbo.
