Fanatics Japan has announced a highly anticipated merchandise collaboration between Major League Baseball (MLB) and the global anime phenomenon ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’. Pre-orders for the special edition apparel will launch on July 25, 2025, via the official online MLB Shop. The collection is managed by the Japanese arm of Fanatics, a leading global digital sports platform.

‘Demon Slayer’ Characters and MLB Stars Unite
The core of the collection features Name & Number T-shirts inspired by the iconic haori (a traditional Japanese jacket) patterns of four beloved characters: Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Giyu Tomioka.
These unique designs will be paired with the names and numbers of some of MLB’s biggest Japanese stars, including Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Yu Darvish of the San Diego Padres, Shota Imanaga and Seiya Suzuki of the Chicago Cubs, and Kodai Senga of the New York Mets. The collection will also be available in kids’ sizes, allowing families to share their fandom.
A Special Collaboration Timed with Theatrical Release
This special project is timed to celebrate the Japanese theatrical release of ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie – Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza’s Return’, which premiered on July 18, 2025.
